Landlord retaliation?

Verbal warning to correct behavior, must correct behavior in 5 to 10 days. You may not evict until the 10 days is up IF behavior is not corrected. A landlord cannot evict you just because the woman upstairs complains. If the behavoir that warranted the verbal warning is corrected then the landlord cannot evict based on original warning. I think John is retaliating for the woman upstairs. No persons have witnessed tenant smoking inside the building since original warning. I am calling Praire Legal Services to make sure John is follwing the law and to ensure that no discrimination is taking place.
