I just received a collection notice from Afni Collections for a bill from I know when.
In 1994, I transfered from US Naval Weapons Station Seal Beach, CA. The area code was 310 and in 1997 was changed to 562!
The Commanding Officer has a directive that all services maintained by barrack personnel will be secured prior to departure.
In my research, I found that Afni, Inc. obtain old phone bills of 5 years to 40 years old for payment.
The Federal Bureau of Investigations, Fraud Division has been notified.
