I have been there twice this week and both times was very disappointed. I will never go back. When you walk through the door, the lady tells you it is store policy.. It is very disconcerting to have to put your bag/backpack/purse in a locker only to feel like they are already accusing you of trying to steal something. Who knows if there are roaches in those lockers? I put my purse in my car.

2nd time: I picked up a tool box that had a mark down on it: from $20 to $15. In addition to that, the booth said 20% off. When I got to the counter, they said that the box was in the wrong booth because the number on the tag said #64 and Booth #64 was behind the desk. BUT the sign in the booth that I got the box from said the 20% discount was for Booth #64. THEN THEY SAID, because it was already marked down, I could NOT get the extra $3.00 off (20%). DO NOT GO HERE.

Closed Mother;s Day!. Why closed Mothers Day? We drove over for a fun day shopping and closed????? You should be open hours your window and website states. Nothing else closed. Understand Thanksgiving, Christmas, maybe Easter and New Years. Come on, Mothrers Day is NOT a holiday. You missed a HUGE shopping day!

Large!!. This place is huge, and seems to something for everyone...upscale antiques, vintage, retro, collectibles. Be sure that you have time if you're gonna stop here. The first time I went I was overwhelmed, but the second time I just jumped right in. I've found some great bargains and cool stuff! Because each "booth" is run by a different dealer it's a little hodge-podge but I thinks it's fun to sift through everything.

There is a purse/ large bag policy as stated in the other reviews. But personally it doesn't bother me. I don't like carrying a purse anyhow.

BRONZE GIRAFFE WHERE CUSTOMERS ARE CONSIDERED THIEVS. Was in the Brozne Giraffe yesterday, my husband and I go there often (drive 100 miles to get there, spend 100's of dollars) BUT WE WON'T BE GOING BACK!!!! If you are a women with a purse they pretty much call you a THIEF! when you walk in the door !!! You have to lock up your purse in a locker that they provide (do they have another key?) or put your purse in the car. Why don't the men have to lock up there pants??? My purse was about 6" X5" what could fit in there, could fit in my husbands pocket. YOU HAVE LOST A GREAT CUSTOMER WILLING TO SPEND ALOT MONEY!!!!! Maybe instead of 4 women yacking behind the counter they should be walking around monitaring and being helpful to the customers, ya?

Leave purses in your car. I do try to stop in every time I pass through Bloomington-Normal, but I find this store's security precautions more than a little annoying. It's probably a sad commentary on the frequency of shoplifting or thoughtless shoppers damaging merchandise with big bags, but...be aware that you'll be required to place your handbags, backpacks, etc. in a storage locker at the front of the store while you shop. You'll have the only key, but that means carrying your cell phone, cough drops, whatever you might need in your pockets. For that reason I usually just carry my wallet and leave the purse in my car.
