Mmmmmm Gondolas!!. LOVE the Gondolas! Tortillini is awesome. In all these years, they haven't moved - I keep thinking they need to expand! We grab Gondolas every time we're in town! Great place for the whole family. Expand to Minnesota!

Love the Gondolas!. I love their Gondolas. I have to say I have tried other menu items and was not impressed. The sauce has a funny bland taste. Do yourself a favor and stick with their Gondolas.

Love it! Great bread and pizza!.
My favorite thing about Avanti's is the bread. I could seriously just order a soda and munch down the bread if they let me. Maybe I'll try that next time.
The pizza here is really yummy too, as is the pasta. Overall I have been very impressed with the service as well!

Avanti's - not exactly fine dining. Avanti's is great for the poor college student or a togo order when you're headed for a picnic. It's simplistic flavors and super soft bread are designed for children, old people, or anyone with a child-like taste palette. I didn't find it romantic, or quaint. It's another kind of fast food, and allows large families to go out without breaking the bank. If you've never been, you should go just so you can say you've been. In Bloomington-Normal, Avanti's is very popular, but I don't know why.

Home of the Famous Gondola!. Please do yourself a favor and try the Gondola. It's just a simple Ham, Salami, Lettuce, and Cheese Sandwich, but combine that with Avanti's outstanding bread and its excellent. In fact, try ANYTHING with the bread. My family and I always buy a few loaves of the bread to go when we are done and make cheese bread at home.

Delicious!. This resaurant has been around forever, and is a great place for delicious and affordable food! I never miss visiting there when I'm in town.
