Reasonably good food, reasonably good prices--great margaritas!!.
You could do worse for Mexican food, but you could also do better. The food here is okay--it's cooked properly, and they have a lot of variety in their menu. Their chips and salsa are yummy--their salsa especially is probably my favorite in town. My biggest issue with their food is that it's pretty bland. If I wanted really good Mexican food, I'd go to Taqueria El Porton instead. However, their margaritas are yummy and cheap! Expecially on Thursday nights, when they have margaritas on sale! Their staff is very friendly and the service is quick--it's easy to get in and out for a speedy lunch. The prices are very reasonable (even on margaritas, even when they're not on sale...) So, for a large group after work who wants some snacks and margaritas, Fiesta Ranchera is a pretty good bet. But if you're looking for a yummy posole or a terrific taco, there are better options.
If you love Mexican food, this is the place. The food was delicious and the salsa is addictive. The only drawback was that they served my after-dinner tequila in a shot glass and not a snifter.
Great food, good price..
Excellent Mexican-style food. The chips and salsa you are given when you sit down are delicious, especially if they bring you some chips that are still hot. I always get the Chicken Fajitas, but friends have told me that the enchilladas, the "Speedy Gonzalez", and the Texas-Style Fajitas are also quite good.
Price: Lunches are usually around $6.00. I have never been there for dinner, so I am not sure about dinner prices, but you can still get cheaper, lunch-portions which are still plenty of food.
Fast, Affordable, Delicious.
Fiesta Ranchera offers authentic Mexican food. Many of my friends and colleagues have commented that their food tastes very close to actual Mexican cuisine. They have a wide variety of food and drink, the prices are cheap, and the service is incredibly fast.
