DO NOT USE THEIR REPAIR SERVICE. I put
my watch in to have the bezel repaired on my Seiko Diver. I was out of state by the time the repair was finished, and my friend mailed the watch to me. The bezel now barely turns, and does not click as it is suppose to.
Now I'll have to pay again to have the bezel repaired by a competent watch repair shop. ABSOLUTELY WORTHLESS. The staff at Solid Gold Jewelers was nice & helpful enough, but the people that do their repair work either aren't capable of doing a simple repair job correctly or they just don't care. One star, worst possible rating.

GREAT SERVICE. I wanted to buy my wife a specific necklace that i could not find anywhere in Bloomington. I had a photo of what i wanted and took it into Solid Gold Jewelers. The staff in there were very helpful and found what i wanted in a catalogue. They custom ordered it for me. Now thats what you call service...

All I needed was a watch battery.
Stopped by this store to get a new battery for my wrist watch. Boy, was I surprised to find out they wanted to keep my watch for 3-5 days in order to replace the battery, as they don't do that type of work on site.
I took it to a battery store and had it replaced in under two minutes.
