What a Great Cut without going broke

My friend recommended her hairstylist, Mary. I was afraid to go, but I take strength and I made the appointment. I am EXTREMELY HAPPY I DID !!!. Mary who is also the owner of the salon did a great job on my hair. The salons services was absolutely impeccable and staff was friendly and outgoing . It was just a wonderful experience. Best of all, since I mentioned my visit to others I work with at a local hospital in Bloomington, many of my co-workers have also said what a great cut and color they also got at JEM's. A friend who went to Cindy at JEM's, loved her highlights. She was very impressed with Cindy's skill. Best of all I got a great color at a price much less than I paid at a salon that thinks it all that!!! After all, the bottom line is to be happy, have a great cut, and not spend my entire paycheck doing it.

The Perfect Cut and Style

I'm living in Chicago now, but still make sure to stop into JEM's to get my hair done when back visiting Bloomington/Normal. The stylist give me the exact cut I envision (and I'm not an easy customer - ha ha). I highly recommend Mary and the JEM's girls!

Very good cut for B/N

This is a great salon. Very professional, but laidback. Also, it's not a ridiculous cost for services. I've gotten good color and cut. I've also gotten a lot of updos done there that were awesome. I'd recommend Mary as a stylist. The only drawback is they tend to run behind on appointments and (logically) can take a LONG time to do color and cut.
- Pros: good cut, affordable, friendly, good location across from the mall
- Cons: lengthy process, run behind
