Pleasant Surprise!. From the location (residential neighborhood) to the facade (rustic cabin?) you would never know what GREAT food is waiting for you inside. Food is VERY reasonably priced and the service was attentive and friendly. Great menu....even smaller portions available. We will be back again and agian to the Ozark House and will tell everyone who will listen about it!

This restaurant had great food and service and is very popular among local longtime residents.. Larry and Connie Weaver the owners are always present to supervise and make sure the food and service are excellent. The waitresses are experienced and know how to make diners feel at home. Everything on the menu is excellent. Our favorites are the catfish and the fried chicken. We like escargot, raw oysters, and deep fried oysters for appetizers. The house salad and the soups are excellent. We often take out of town and new to town company here for a great dinner and a fun night out. New residents and travelers have difficulty finding the place.
