Can't Wait To Go Back!

This place is so amazing. When I went, they were busy, yet there was still at least someone around to answer a question for you. I know this sounds silly but... before I went here, I didn't know what size EXACTLY I was in a bra. I just never really paid attention. So I went in and I said that, feeling awkward (because I'm 22, I should know right?) and the owner said "That isn't silly at all! You're one of the smart 22 year olds, dear. Come on, we'll get you set up." And I know it was just a couple of words but after that, I really didn't feel awkward anymore. BTW, having the PERFECT fitting bra is AMAZING. I look taller. :D Anyway, if she wasn't around (she's the owner, everyone wants to talk to her), there was an employee within ear's reach that could answer one of my many questions. The girl who helped me out the most (besides Brenda, the owner) was a girl named Jennifer. Very friendly girl. Now, if you're SHY then you might want to bring someone along to support you because when they fit you, you're...well...topless. lol. BUT they are very professional about it, they won't judge you, they are there to get the perfect bra for you. For example, they just so happen to NOT have my size in a pretty bra I wanted, so she said it was no problem to order it and get it shipped. Well, I live in Pontiac and explained that I don't come to Bloomington everyday and she said that was no problem, she would have it shipped to my house. I can't wait to get my bra in the mail! ;D It's a very great place, I can't wait to go back! You should at least check it out and make up your mind about it.

Great service, Great products.

I have lived in the Bloomington area since 1984, and have felt very prudish about shopping in a store attached to or affiliated with an adult bookstore. I am so glad I finally got over this hangup!

When I started exercising while still wearing a size 24, I needed a sports bra, and Bedtime Botique kept coming up as the only place go.

I received great service. My needs were discussed, and I was measured in the dressing room. A variety of bras were brought to me which I was given privacy to try on, then the employee came in to talk to me about the fit. For exercise bras, she even left me alone to do a few jumping jacks for each style and size.

Although the bras I needed were quite pricey (over $50 each), they fit amazingly well, and for the first time in FOREVER I don't bounce all over. I can't say enough about the wonderful knowledgeable employees. And, I must say, there was really nothing in the store to make a fairly conservative middle aged woman uncomfortable! I wish I had gone there years ago. Thanks to my supportive bra, I have been able to exercise off many pounds, as well! :)

Bad experiences not typical

My wife and I have been going to Bedtime Boutique for the last 6 years and have yet to have a bad experience. Even when the shop is packed, the staff seems to go out of their way to give everyone possible the best experience they can. My wife wears difficult to shop for sizes, and yes, to the above reviewer, she is larger than a 14, and has never been treated with anything but the deepest respect within this shop.

That being said, we did bring a friend of ours to down on our last trip, and she was uncomfortable with receiving as much service as she got with relation to her bra shopping, and ended up leaving without a purchase. If you are not comfortable with a professional helping to ensure you are wearing the clothing properly, this may not be the experience for you.

• Pros: Knowledgeable staff, full service, took good care of my wife
• Cons: full service underclothing fitting may not be for everyone

Dont waste your time

DO NOT waste your time driving to this store.

the owner is a total BITCH.

My best friend and i drove from Peoria (she lives in Moline) to go to this store.

I know i am a big woman (reason for going to this store) I am a size 24. SO i went in and found a corset that i liked in a 2x and a nighty in a 3x. WELL when i went to the dressing room, she said i may need to help you get into these cause i dont think they will go around you.

WELL LADY -- a CORSET laces up for a reason, and is SUPPOSE to be tight.

my Best friend proceeded to not buy anything in that store, and when we told her she was rude, she said well she didnt want me ripping her merchandise. WELL if i would have ripped it, i would have BOUGHT IT --

I WILL NEVER STEP FOOT IN THIS STORE AGAIN, and i hope that anyone over a size 14 doesnt either. YES she says she has things for bigger women, ONLY BRA's, and the sexxi stuff she does have in bigger sizes are things that SHE or my grandma would wear.

I AM THE OWNER OF BEDTIME BOUTIQUE AND I WANT TO APOLOGIZE FOR YOUR POOR SERVICE. THE PERSON THAT I BELIEVE YOU DEALT WITH HAS BEEN TERMINATED FOR GIVING POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I HAVE BEEN IN BUSINESS FOR OVER 20 YEARS AND WE HAVE OVER 7000 BRA CUSTOMERS SO I AM SORRY FOR YOUR EXPERIENCE AND IF YOU COME BACK AND ASK FOR BRENDA I WILL MAKE IT RIGHT.
